Sm. Perillae Zi Su Zi 3-10g Stops coughing, calms wheezing, descends Qi and dissolves Phlegm.
With Bai Jie Zi and Lai Fu Zi, for wheezing from Phlegm and thin mucus leading to Qi Stagnation, focal distention in the chest, anorexia and indigestion.

Sm. Sinapis Bai Jie Zi 3-15g Warms the Lungs, regulates Qi and expels Phlegm.
With Lai Fu Zi, restores the smooth flow of Qi and reduces Phlegm to treat coughing and wheezing especially when the chest and diaphragm feel full of Phlegm, particularly Cold-Phlegm and when the descent of Lung Qi is impaired.
With Zi Su Zi and Lai Fu Zi, for a cough with copious, clear, bubbly sputum and pain, fullness and distention of the chest due to water accumulation in the chest and diaphragm or Cold-Phlegm Obstructs the chest and flanks.
Sm. Lepidii/ Descurainiae Ting Li Zi 3-10g Drains the Lungs, reduces Phlegm and calms wheezing.
With Da Zao, for coughing with excessive sputum, wheezing and chest fullness with pain due to Phlegm preventing the descent of Lung Qi.
With Zi Su Zi, for Accumulation of Phlegm and thin mucus leading to Lung Qi constraint and blockage with coughing and wheezing which is worse when lying down, edema of the tissues of the face and head, stifling fullness and discomfort in the chest and a reduction in the flow of urine.
